Runner of the Month (December) - Amanda Larkin
A remarkably consistent runner whenever she pulls on the blue and white, Amanda has had a very solid 2018 and has finished on a real high.
Beginning the month at the Bakewell X-C, Amanda came home as our first female finisher to collect 150 Winter League points and she's followed this up at the Queens Head Canter 5k, finishing as second female while running almost a minute quicker than last year!
Clearly in a bit of form, Amanda has had a real go at parkrun this month, completing the Long Eaton course all 5 times it was held, gaining confidence and speed with each run. This included her 100th run on her birthday. This finally culminated in a PB of 22:48, beating her previous best which was set way back in 2016!
