July's runner of the month is Stacey, who is another runner who has been seriously considered a few times already this year, showing a) just how strong LERC is again and b) just how good a year Stacey is having!
July has been particularly special, as Stacey was the only member to race in all five Summer League races, which saw her pick up a mammoth 747 points, to top the table.
This included finishing as 2nd Vet at the Warsaw Beer Festival fell race; a top 10 finish at the Worksop league race; 1st vet at the Bamford Fell Race; taking home the 1st Vet and team prize at The Run; finishing first lady and setting a club record at Markeaton parkrun; putting herself in contention for a top 3 overall finish in the Booths League; and finally, a strong debut at Crich, finishing 3rd in category.
Such commitment and consistency in results, is even more amazing, given that it's still not been 12 months since Stacey completed her first LERC League race!
