Was Runner Of The Month for

July-25

This has to be one of the hardest months to single out one person to be our ‘ Runner of the month’ as there are so many races that many of our club members take part in. It was also incredibly difficult to choose between two fabulous runners.

This person began July with a course best at Smalley 5 Bells, running a time of 39.11 and placing 2nd in her age category.
Her next success came at Beeston parkrun on the 12th with a 26 second improvement to take her to a 22.59 PB. A mere 4 days later she ran in the Notts road race league at Worksop, where she gained a PB time of 36.33. A week later at The Run she put in another great performance and ran 29.37, a PB and placed 3rd in her age category.
She is currently in 3rd place having done 9 races in our summer league and we wish her well as she completes her 10th race.

As I said it was a very difficult month to choose as a special mention has to go to Anna Baillee. Anna has had a fantastic month, also gaining PB’s at 4 miles, 5k and 5 miles and a course best at Smalley 5 Bells. I look forward to seeing Anna go from strength to strength 💪
