This month’s winning runner has had an amazing running journey to date. It began at the completion of the couch to 5k in October 2024 - then fast forward a year, not only has she beaten her 5k time by 8 minutes, but this month she ran a personal best in the 5 mile and the half marathon at Worksop in a time of 1.57:03!
I know that running has become a big part of her life. She has spoken openly of this and how she loves the community and the friendships that she has made. She has been a great asset to the club and has represented us in the summer league doing 11 races and most recently taking part in the cross country at Markeaton and Shipley park. She can also be applauded for transporting many of us to races in the ‘fun bus’. Congratulations to our October Runner of the month, Kimberley Ravenscroft.
